Are anonymous calls allowed?
Note that each data feed on Nasdaq Data Link is delivered through one of the following Nasdaq Data Link APIs:
- Streaming API for real-time data
- REST API for real-time or delayed data
- REST API for time-series
- REST API for tables
You can learn more about these APIs, data formats and authentication here.
Anonymous calls are allowed when using the REST API for time-series or REST API for tables.
Anonymous users (i.e., users who are not appending any API key to their API calls) have a combined limit of 20 calls per 10 minutes and 50 calls per day. These limits are applied globally to all anonymous users. If you need higher API rate limits, we recommend appending your API key to your API calls, as per the instructions here.
